Kristine Carney

Kristine Carney is the main principle behind Yellow Dog Designs. She is an Art Director and Graphic Designer with over twenty years of experience. Her design background includes websites, book and magazine publishing, consumer and pharmaceutical advertising. Brands Kristine has worked with include: Bristol Myers Squibb Oncology, Forest Laboratories, Johnny Walker Scotch, Crayola Crayons, MoMA, Tate Gallery, Kennedy Center, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Disney.
Kristine studied design and illustration at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, then ventured to NYC to experience the big city. Eventually she crossed over the bridge into New Jersey where she resides with her husband, two children and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rocky.
Yellow Dog Designs was named after two yellow labs, Oscar and Bailey who once ruled the household. Now Rocky rules the kingdom. He has fine taste in food and has no shame in eating off your plate…



Lisa Dawson

Lisa Dawson is a marketing, writing and public relations professional. For over 20 years, Lisa has been involved in internal and external communications, as well as marketing, branding, PR, events and social media. She has worked both in-house and at boutique PR and marketing agencies, which has afforded her experience in nearly every aspects of communications for large and small companies. She has worked for healthcare, technology, consumer products, manufacturing, publishing and education companies.

Lisa’s communications career began in 1991 at IBM in East Fishkill, NY where she was part of the Employee Communications Department. From there, Lisa moved into advertising, sales and promotions for Home and Country Living magazines. Lisa transitioned into public relations and corporate communications in 1994. Over the next seven years, Lisa continued to flourish as a writer, media placement specialist, marketing manager and corporate communications professional. During this time, Lisa helped manage large marketing campaigns for clients such as: Vaseline, Casio, The Islands of the Bahamas, Starbucks Ice Cream and MapQuest, to name a few.

In 1998, Lisa held the position of Corporate Communications Director at Xceed, Inc., a global technology company based in New York. Her experiences in this position inspired her to begin her own investor relations company, Breakpoint Group to work with small technology companies, such as LivePerson, position themselves in the marketplace and grow their investor base.

Lisa has contributed articles for The Northern Valley Press newspaper, New Jersey Life Health + Beauty, Monmouth Health & Life, The Hook magazine and honestbaby.com.

Today, Lisa is based in Dallas, Texas in a Public Relations and Marketing position for a technology company. In this role, she manages social media campaigns, blog and article writing, e-mail marketing campaigns and media relations.
